Profile Information

Hello, this is TheMidnightEclipse.

One thing to know about me is that I am obsessed with the moon. It's not like I'm into all the scientific stuff, but more of the magical elements it has and its great mysteries... I guess you could say I feel like that about the entire universe.

I love to read mystery stories here as well as the following: romance, action, hurt/comfort, drama, and super-natural (I prefer super-natural and mystery put together most of the time). I don't read humor much, but if I do and I leave a good review, consider yourself lucky.

I may have just started this account, but I have written numerous stories. Not all of those will be posted up here, and some are relatively short...

I have always dreamed about becoming an author (or poet), and I hope this site will give me a good start..

Enough on that topic, here is a bit about myself...

Name: Would never give it, but you can call me Eclipse or TME

Age: Let's just say I act pretty mature for my age...

Favorite Author(s): Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl (they wrote my favorite series, HELLO!)

Favorite Type of Music: Mostly rock, that's about it

Favorite Bands: Evanescence, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, a bit of Avenged Sevenfold, and Disturbed

Favorite Book(s): Beautiful Creatures, Beautiful Darkness, and Beautiful Chaos. So basically the Caster Chronicles series.

Other Account: DarkPoems

Anything Interesting: One thing is probably that I'm Kurdish. Not allot of people know that unless I actually tell them... I don't really find it hard to think I'm European (I've been asked if I was French before...), but it does get me anger that I don't look like other Kurds

Second thing, I'm Muslim, and no we are not terrorists. If I see just one person call me that, I'll probably rip their head off...

Hmm, third thing? Oh yeah, I have an outrageous obsession with Mephiles the Dark. Seriously, if the guy was real and he had a mouth, I would probably make-out with him... though, he would kill me right after OH WELL! Hehe...

Fourth thing, and this is kind of important to know if you don't want me blowing up in your face, I have anger management problems... There, I said it, done with, let's move on! But yeah, don't get on my hostile, anger, enraged, furious, need to kill somebody side...

Fifth thing, I listen to, what everyone (but me) calls, 'creepy' music when I go to sleep. So a song that would probably scare someone shitless is what I listen to as a lullaby...

Sixth thing, I don't know why, but I suck at writing anything happy... Not like the plot sucks (well it DOES suck, but that isn't the main reason), but it is as if I have almost no vocabulary, can't use correct punctuation, and have absolutely no grammar. Like in a dark or horror story, I go to my trusty thesaurus numerous times, and find more 'interesting' words. Also, I try to describe everything as much as possible, and give lots of emotion. But in a 'happy' story, I usually use the same words and put some meaningless, idiotic, and stupid things down... Wonder why?

Seventh, this is probably the weirdest, but I have a MASSIVE obsession with the word sayonara. Like at the end of almost EVERYTHING I put sayonara. Whether it's a comment on Youtube, the end of an A/N, the end of a review, the end of a PM. Basically at the end of everything (not my sentences that I say outloud though. That would be weird...)

"One of the most time-consuming things is to have an enemy." -E.B. White

"I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority." -E.B. White

"A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool" -William Shakespear

"Better a witty fool than a foolish wit" -William Shakespear

"Better three hours too son than one minute too late" -William Shakespear

"Boldness be my friend" -William Shakespear

"Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first." -Mark Twain

"Every man dies. Not every man really lives." -William Wallace

"Everything in life has been figured out, except how to live" -Jean-Paul Sartre

"Here is the test to find whether your mission on Earth is finished: if you're alive, it isn't." -Richard Bach

"I have a simple philosophy: Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches." -Alice Roosevelt Longworth

"Stop hinting your problems; say them out loud, let everyone know. If you don't, you might as well be asking for them" -Me

"Be unique is normal, but being morbid is an entirely different thing" -Me

"Becoming an adult has nothing to do with age; it has to do with maturity. You can be 25 for all I care, but if you are not mature, you're still a kid" -Me

"Since when did age decide what you can and can not do?" -Me

"Stop laughing, get serious. You won't always be able to keep that smile on your face" -Me

"No matter what, that fake smile of yours will soon fade away, and soon everyone will see the truth" -Me

"Creativity is slowly fading away, soon there will be nothing but vampires that sparkle in the sunlight" -Me

What I Write About

Granted, I have written so much as one story here (even if it is just a prologue...), like mentioned above, I am constantly writing off-line. I know dreaming about becoming a huge author is really just a dream and not everyone gets to full-fill it, but I've had many good responses and feedback. Last year (or maybe two...), a subsitute was trying to 'get to know us', so she had as state a few facts. After each person was done, she gave feedback. After I was done, this was her response, "You know, you could become a journalist or author one day." I can not tell you how happy I was to here that. Seriously, I got this weird smiling thing where I just couldn't stop smiling...

I know teachers and subsitutes are supposed to usually give good feedback, but think of it this way; she didn't have to say that. She could have simply said, "Your writing skills are nice." not say that I would become a journalist or author! But of course, that's my opinion. Wow, I have gotten off-topic here, haven't I? I guess I should tell you what I write now...

Anyway, I tend to head to the dark, mysterious, supernatural writing. Last year, my teacher would always make us write a short story (one or two pages), but she gave the topic. Although given a topic, I turned it into something no one else thought of. I felt original, creative, unique. I usually wrote about me and my friend, Mckayla. Though, in the end, one of us usually died... But that's just how I write. I'm glad to show my creative to more people then just family, friends, and teachers...
