Let me preface to all who read my writing that I only write when I am sad. I would actually consider myself to be an optimist. I am almost always happy and in good spirits, but when I occasionally do feel down, I write poetry to get back up. I would not call myself a "writer." That is to say that I do not write often or for pure enjoyment. As I said, it is for helping myself.
I am uploading these writings with hope that they will help others feel like they are not alone in their feelings when they are lonely.
Also please keep in mind that a majority of these were written in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade as that was when I was struggling most with my feelings.
