About

I am a fuul-time veterinarian who has been writing since childhood. Indeed, I made my living as a writer and editor before joining my current profession, publishing books and articles on advertising, graphic design and photography. Fiction has been my true love, however, and I have self-published novels in a variety of genres ranging from Literary Fiction to Sci-Fi, to Horror. I guess I choose the genre that will allow me to tell the story I want to tell. Whatever the genre, I hope my readers recognize my attempt to write with humor.

My own reading has been quite eclectic. My undergraduate degree was in American Literature, so I am well versed in the classic American authors of the 19-20th centuries, as well as British literature with a smattering of classic French and German lit read in translation. I read nonfiction as well, some to keep up with my day job, but mostly to inform my writing of whatever I am working on at the time. I deeply regret that I don't have more time to read.
