Persie is a girl who believes in magic and the power of wishful thinking. She believes in ghosts and wishing on shooting stars, but most of all Persie believes in true love. Well at least she did, until her heart was shattered by malicious rumours about Jack, a boy who loved her too much.
Eight years later and not much has changed for Persie. She’s still a dreamer and an avid reader, but has been converted from cranberry juice to coffee and spends most of her pay checks on handbags. A chance encounter with her past allows Persie to see that she needs to take risks, and not just with her hair colour.
Let it never be said that romance is dead, because Cupid isn’t finished with Persie and neither is Jack; not just yet.
