Profile Information

Hi, I'm Sarah Espinoza. Yes, I do have another  account...I just cannot remember the email let alone the password because I have not been on this site for a very long time. To prove that I am who I say I am...I'll tell you exactly the first thing I wrote and what was running through my mind as I wrote it.

The First thing I ever wrote was a poem called... The Truth About the World and I published it in April of 2011.

It goes like this...

I wish the world were different from what I see.

All I ever saw was death and violence on the news in American and around the world and I wanted the world to be different, to be peaceful.

The war, the violence, and the blood I want to be free.

All the violence and death...it made me feel like I was drowning in the blood of the innocent even though I took no part in such violent or anger or hatred.

The deafening noise I hear at night.

I lived in a somewhat quiet town...yet it felt so loud because I imagined the death...I imagined the mother's crying over the loss of their children...I could hear the wives defending their husbands...and I could hear the echoe of the world in pain.

The rivalry that started the rebel’s fight.

We know that this world has good and evil in it. There will always be a rivalry. There will always be people who will stand up for themselves and then there will always be people who will try and crush them.

I want to rest in peace by the end.

By the time I die...I hope the world can get past their diffrences and acknowlege those diffrences and try to improve eachother instead of tearing eachother down.

No more lies, no more cheating, no more fake smiles,

and no more pretend.

Let's all stop pretending. We are humans...we are not bulletproof. We hurt eachother, we lie to eachother, and we pretend we're something when we're not.

Example of lies:

I’ll stop feeling the pain in awhile.

I learn not to smile.

I’ll forget to love and learn to hate.

I will be bent and not straight.

I will walk away from the signs of pain.

I will lose nothing nor will I gain.

I will walk away from the tears.

I will laugh at people’s fears.

I will make no friends.

There are no happy ends.
